How to find the beat frequency between two waves

An alternative way to find the beat frequency between two waves using ASPL playop on the differential group variable holding the waves as the frequencies are slightly shifted. The script wavesbeat2.pl can find when two waves intersect along their summed areas. The script iterates by slightly incrementing the frequency of one wave, then get the intersection of both waves along their summed areas (using the playop operator on the group union), hence locating these points of intersection where the beats occur.
