A set variable represents a dataset that is formed of the grouping of one or many groups, where each group can embed subgroups and elements. A set variable can be assigned the result of a generative function called GG-function or GG-func for short. GG-functions are programmable functions that typically return
Grouping Algebraic Data groups objects (denoted by
GADg). The GG-functions are dynamically loaded by ASPL container: The Global Grouping Functions Container (denoted with
GG-Container). Each GG-function is bound to a specific namedGClass GROUPINGCLASSNAME defined in the
egC-Container. For brievity, we use the term GGs to refer to the GG-functions. The GGs are represented by modules that are reloadable by the GG-Container; for instance every time you invoke the
ggls command, ASPL reload the GGs and display them.
