How-to Install ASPL as a System Option
ASPL Enterprise Unlimited can be installed on your UNIX system to be used by all users. Users cannot create GG-functions or grouping classes, however, they can run ASPL scripts, and other scripts defined in ASPL's ~shared directory. Only root can make changes in the GG-Container and egC-Container. Installing ASPL in /opt as a system option is done using the root account. This chapter shows how to install ASPL as a system option in /opt.
